Arka Restaurant

Arka is a restaurant and bar concept created within the Hotel Dunea complex in Sturovo, where modern chic meets an eclectic, art-deco-tinged sensibility. Sweeping arch curves recur throughout the space, from the ribbed dark-timber wall panelling to the ornate perforated brass screen used as a decorative focal point, tying the whole 200 square-metre floor plan together as a single architectural gesture. Deep sage-green velvet booths and dining chairs sit beside warm-toned marble flooring and glass-fronted display cabinetry, while clusters of spherical brass pendants and sheer floor-to-ceiling curtains soften the light. Lush greenery threaded between the seating areas keeps the atmosphere organic despite the richness of the materials. The result is a genuinely gourmet dining environment, equal parts restaurant, bar and design statement.
