Dunea Hotel Bathroom

This guest bathroom is part of the wider reconstruction of the Dunea Hotel in Sturovo, a property whose rooms open onto sweeping views of the Danube and the Ostrihom Basilica beyond. Inside, floor-to-ceiling bookmatched dark grey marble wraps the walls in dramatic veining, while a run of backlit wood display niches holds toiletries like objects in a gallery. A row of framed classical engravings adds an unexpected touch of old-world elegance against the stone, and a sculptural dark archway frames the shower entrance with a quiet, almost ceremonial gesture. Every surface, from the polished floor to the concealed fittings, was chosen to make even a compact 10 square-metre space feel like an extension of a five-star suite.
